Aquentis Water Detection Sensing Cable offers a viable alternative to probes on those installations which
require that extra degree of protection. The cable can be placed around area’s from which the leak is expected
to issue or around the item which is to be protected.
The cable is of small diameter and extremely flexible with no metal parts exposed thanks to a conductive polymer coating. Once wet the cable can be allowed to dry naturally or wiped with a dry lint free cloth to aid it’s return back to service. The construction of the cable is LSF (Low Smoke and Fume) allowing it to be installed in area’s considered as a plenum.
The Sensing cable is available as standard in 1, 3,5,10 & 15 Metre lengths each terminated with a 3 Metre non-sensing Leader cable. The cable can also be sold by the Metre for termination on site utilising Aquentis Zone nodes. Non-sensing Jumper cable is also available to allow the sensing cable to be installed remotely from the controlling panel or Leak detection module.
