The AQ-MZA is a two zone Leak detection panel which by the use of a maximum of three two zone expansion cards can be
expanded to a maximum of eight zones. These zones can control either liquid leak or gas detection sensors. It’s heavier
duty metal enclosure makes it suitable for installation in both industrial and commercial environments.
The unit provides clear and concise information as to the type of alarm detected (either cable break or leak alarm for each zone) via LED indicators with clear graphic icons and sounder.
The unit works on 230/120 Vac 50/60 Hz and has the ability to charge a 12 V back-up battery (separate battery enclosure required) capable of supporting the system for up to 72 hours in the case of a power failure.
The unit is compatible with the full range of Aquentis, AquiTron and TraceTek sensing devices as well as those from other major manufacturers.
The AQ-MZA metal enclosure can be easily mounted to a wall or other flat surface. A semi-flush mounting flange is also available. The enclosure is lockable, has an IP54 rating and a 90 decibel audible alarm. An auxiliary remote alarm (AT-RAP) can be added to the system and located in remote positions such as reception areas and security rooms. The use of the expansion cards make it particularly useful in area’s which are expected to expand where the initial base two zone panel is installed and expanded at a latter date in two zone increments.
