The K1000 Series panels featured an ABS enclosure and were available in 1, 2, 4 or 6 Zone versions. The panels had a common Volt-Free Fault Relay Contact along with a clean Alarm Volt-Free Contact for remote signalling or plant shutdown when in any fault or alarm condition.
The Hydrosense K1000 series was essentially a modified Fire Alarm panel and was sold by the manufacturers largely to Fire Alarm companies resulting with the panels being badged under many names.
Each zone could monitor up to 50 Metres of Hydrowire water sensing cable or up to 20 Hydrosense probes but not a combination of both on a single zone.
Hydrosense panels had an internal 24Vdc charger and battery and a plastic key needed to be inserted to enable the controls.
The Hydrosense K1000 Series has been replaced by Hydrosense HSCP Series
