Design Flexibility
TT1000 TraceTek sensing cable comes with pre-installed plastic connectors that plug together to form a water resistant seal.
The cable is designed for a range of applications, including data centre sub-floors, telecommunication rooms, equipment locations, pipes, electrical vaults, storage areas, tanks, and roofs. TT1000 TraceTek sensing cable is small, lightweight, and flexible, allowing easy installation. The smooth design allows for quick drying.
Advanced Technology
The use of advanced conductive polymer technology and fluoropolymer construction make TT1000 sensing cable mechanically strong and resistant to corrosion and abrasion. The cable is constructed of two sensing wires, an alarm signal wire, and a continuity wire embedded in a fluoropolymer carrier rod.
The alarm module constantly monitors the sensing cable for continuity. This rugged construction, which exposes no metal, enables the re-usable cable to withstand chemical attack in a broad range of corrosive environments.
Installation Considerations
Because the TraceTek sensing cable consists of exposed conductive polymer sensing cores the cable is not suitable for installation on highly textured metal surfaces such as 5 bar checker plate without an insulating membrane, this is because the extrusions projection may short circuit the cable.
The cable should not be fitted directly in the airflow of powerful Air-conditioning units with out the use of a deflector as dust and debris may accumulate on the TraceTek sensing cable making it hypersensitive.
